Sustainability Policy

This policy relates to how all operations in our company will strive to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). It will be continually reviewed and improved, so that we will truly be able to integrate environmental and social considerations into our everyday practices.

The company will consistently strive to raise awareness in the community, encourage participation and train employees in sustainability matters.

1. Gender Equality and Inclusion 

​

Dilucidar believes in gender equality and inclusion as outlined by SDG 10. As a company we will always make an effort to make equality and inclusion part of our business conduct. This means: 

• Offering equal opportunities to all people.

• Zero tolerance to discrimination based on age, gender, sex, religion or disability.

2. Decent Work and Ethical Labour Practices

​

In line with SDG 8, Dilucidar strives to offer decent work to its full time staff and subcontractors. In addition, as a company with corporate values aligned with the global sustainability agenda, we do not conduct business with clients or partners that may be involved with child labour, forced labour or any other unethical labour practices that violate international conventions designed to protect vulnerable workers.

3. Safeguarding of Children 

​

We are extremely careful when using photographs or videos that depict children. We offer alternative visual solutions if possible. When using photographs and video footage that include children, we make sure that we have proper authorisation to use the image or video and that personal identity and privacy are not compromised. We always make sure photos are aligned with human dignity, respect and truthfulness. When working on specific child-related projects where we compile photographic material of children, we do not store these files after the project is completed.

4. Environmental Protection and Sustainable Consumption

Dilucidar acknowledges a responsibility to the environment, and we express our commitment towards implementing practices which promote environmental sustainability. The following policy governs the management of the environmental aspects of our company, with specific focus on the conservation of resources and the reduction of waste.

Primary Sustainability Objectives

1. Collaborating with Stakeholders 

 

• Provide information, training opportunities and initiatives to engage our employees and other stakeholders to take part in environmental protection; 

• Comply with all relevant and applicable environmental and social protection laws, regulations and industry requirements; 

• Collaborate with our stakeholders (e.g. investors, clients, suppliers, business partners, and regulators), when possible, on environmentally sustainable practices; 

• Collaborate with and encourage our clients, partners and suppliers to minimise their carbon footprint; and 

• Monitor our progress in managing environmental and other sustainability issues. 

 

2. Operational Efficiency 

 

• Base our operations on key principles of sustainability; 

• Continually review, reinvent plans and measures to enhance the efficiency of our operations and infrastructure; 

• Commit to resource efficiency by means of: 

  • Monitoring and optimising the use of resources (e.g. electricity, printing materials) at our office; and 

  • Reducing, recycling and reusing (as appropriate) materials and waste. 

 

 

Policy Statement Communication and Review 

 

This Policy Statement is to be communicated to all interested parties via our corporate internet site. To our employees, the policy is to be communicated via internal communication channels. All employees within Dilucidar Pte. Ltd. are expected to align their policies and operations with the corporate policy. Non-compliance to the Policy Statement can be reported to info@dilucidar.com.

This Sustainability Policy, objectives and targets of the company will be reviewed on a regular basis.
